With all of this cold weather I am wishing it was forever Autumn!
Here is one from my Colorado trip last month….this is the city of Glenwood Springs.
Clouds are covering the sky in preparation for our first snow of the season this evening….sounds like more ice than snow though.
Went walking this past weekend to capture the last colors of Autumn….
While in Colorado, we finally made it to Georgetown and got to go on the Georgetown Loop Railroad’s train thru the mountains and all the aspens. It was a gorgeous day to see the aspens against the blue skies.
This is the South Platte River which comes into Nebraska from Colorado. This is what brought some of the flooding from Boulder, CO to Nebraska earlier this Fall. This stretch of the river has been normally dry for the past several years. Now it really looks like a river!
Since we missed our Colorado trip this year, we decided to go in October. I have never experienced a Colorado Autumn and was so glad we went. Even though it snowed, the yellow aspens were gorgeous against the white snowy background!
