The detail is more pronounced in the black and white. The eyes are more enchanting in the colored. They are both interesting in their own way. Love the peanut stealing blue bird.
B&W for me. II think everything stands out better: spots, texture of fur, ferocity in the eyes…He/she looks tame in the color shot, a big kitty; wary and potentially ferocious in B&W.

Gosh, both of those versions are gorgeous. I couldn’t pick between the two!
I agree completely with John and Lois. And I too love the blue jay pic!
I can’t decide, both are great!
This reinforces my view, I am afraid, the B&W makes his eyes seem scared whereas the golden eyes have a definite threat attached, BELIEVE THE COLOUR!
I be honest I prefer the colour version as I just love the different tones nature provides in its creatures!
Both are spectacular but I think I will pick the B&W.
Colour for me too, but I do get a better sense of his whiskers in the B&W.
I’m surprised that the blue jay has to shell his own peanuts!

I’m leaning towards the color image. It has more life in it.
both super photos, oddly enough I prefer the little fellow in colour~great january photos..
Leopard – B & W. Absolutely stunning image.
Gosh Tammy, this is a really tough choice, but I think I favor the black and white. It just seems to suit this gorgeous creature perfectly.
I like the drama of the black and white image.
I like the color. Nature’s colors just have to be shown off.
Wow…this is like a studio shot. How far away were you ? Your photo s are amazing! I love the black and white…but both are beautiful.
I think I like the color, however two very good shots!
